McDonald’s UK announced the suspension of its services next Monday (19) so that employees can pay tribute to Queen Elizabeth II.
From Monday midnight local time until 5 pm, the fast food chain’s stores will remain closed.
Also according to McDonald’s, opening hours may vary after 5 pm.
This Wednesday (14), the coffin that carries the Queen’s body was taken from Buckingham Palace to Westminster Hall. The site was open to the public, who were allowed to walk around the coffin. Visitation will be allowed day and night until 6:30 am next Monday (19), when the funeral will begin at Westminster Abbey and the burial at Windsor Castle.
