Following the measures announced by Caixa on the eve of the election with benefits for women, the bank launches this Monday (19) some changes in the standard of care for people with ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder) and companions.
The event to launch actions such as employee training and signage at branches will be attended by Caixa’s president, Daniella Marques, who is going to Belo Horizonte to make the announcement. Training will be done through videos and booklets on specific approaches to the care of people with autism.
According to Caixa, the new actions are part of Caixa Pra Elas, a program launched in August with the promise of welcoming measures, financial guidance and exclusive service for the female public in branches and other channels of the bank.
Women with ASD or those accompanying people with autism can be cared for at the Caixa Pra Elas space, a more reserved environment installed in about a thousand units of the bank and which should reach all branches by December.
Specific signage for customer service with ASD is planned for 500 branches by the end of the year.
Among the benefits that Caixa recently announced for women are lower credit rates and a pause in maternity benefit payments.
The reinforcement of Caixa’s actions in communication aimed at women began after the departure of the bank’s former president, Pedro Guimarães, who left the post amid allegations of sexual harassment, which he denies. The measures also come at a time when President Bolsonaro is trying to reduce the resistance of the female electorate.
