Another gas station was sealed by the auditors of the Independent Public Revenue Authority.
It is a gas station in Byron, in which AADE carried out extensive cross-checks, through special software, from where significant differences emerged in the data produced by the input-output systems and the tax electronic mechanisms (FEM).
The verifications led to the conclusion that there had been an intervention in the fuel monitoring mechanisms, as a result of which other data were generated to the customers of the station and others were sent to AADE.
More specifically, the managers of the gas station gave receipts, which related to a different type, quantity and value of fuel, than the one that was transmitted through the input/output system and the FIM to the AADE database.
The gas station was sealed and at the same time its equipment was seized, and will remain closed until the inflow and outflow system is restored at the expense of the installer.
Also, the tax penalties that will be imposed amount to 15% of the station’s annual turnover and are estimated at around 350,000 euros, while the fine reaches 150,000 euros.
