Panel SA: Supermercadists receive new promises of recreation from the Ministry of Industry

by

The recreation of the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Services, one of the agendas that are on the list of demands of Abras (Brazilian Association of Supermarkets) was promised by Geraldo Alckmin, Lula’s vice candidate, in a meeting with supermarkets on Wednesday (27 ).

The sector has already heard the same promise from other presidential candidates in recent days.

Last week, it was Bolsonaro who said he would reinstate the ministry if elected. Before him, Ciro Gomes did the same at an event with the CNI (National Confederation of Industry).

Abras says that it sees change as a way to regain competitiveness and generate jobs.

Alckmin had already spoken out in favor of the measure on previous occasions, such as the meeting with businessmen from Fieg (Federation of Industries of the State of Goiás), last week.

Among the demands of the supermarkets to the presidential candidates are the reduction of credit card fees, the opening of the market for administrators and the release of the sale of medicines without a doctor’s prescription on supermarket shelves.
