In the escalation of political gestures that the Natura&Co group has been making in recent months, the cosmetics maker will launch a charge for the preservation of the Amazon in the interval of the Globo debate, this Thursday (29), the last among the presidential candidates before the first round.
In vignettes of 15 and 30 seconds on the commercial grid, Natura will present images of a forest in flames with a question: “Candidates, I lose more than 350 thousand trees just in the time of this debate. talk about plans to protect me?”
According to the company, the brand also created a social network profile on the topic and installed a counter of felled trees.
“The company has been calling the attention of candidates and voters and on how the conscientious vote on the 2nd is fundamental for the preservation of the environment”, says Natura.
Among the company’s political movement initiatives, earlier this month, the Natura&Co group launched a political education program for the network of resellers of its products, the so-called consultants and representatives of the Natura and Avon brands. According to the company, with 2 million people, they can represent about 2% of the female electorate in the country.
In July, Natura also decided to help collect signatures for a popular initiative bill in defense of the Amazon.
