Registration for the INSS (National Social Security Institute) contest with a thousand vacancies for social security technicians has been extended until 11:59 pm this Tuesday (4).
The demand was so great that the site cebraspe.org.br, where registrations are made, went offline. The instability occurred in all internet browsers. On Twitter, candidates reported concern about the possibility of missing the selection deadline.
Around 9 am on Tuesday, the report did a registration test with a CPF on the website and managed to follow the steps to register for the contest.
The correction of the notice with the change of the registration deadline was published in the Official Gazette. The consultation on the provisional status of the application for exemption from the registration fee will be made between October 11th and 13th. Appeals for appeals can be submitted on October 12 and 13, if the exemption request is denied.
The government has already estimated that the selection may receive 1.5 million entries. In the last INSS contest, published in December 2015, there were more than 1 million participants for 950 vacancies and the position of social security technician was disputed by 1,304 candidates per vacancy.
The position of social security technician requires a complete high school education and has a salary of up to R$ 5,905.79 for a 40-hour work week. The thousand vacancies are distributed in the 97 executive managements of the institute located throughout the country. Of the total, 708 are for broad competition, 90 for people with disabilities and 202 for blacks.
The registration fee, in the amount of R$ 85, can be paid until the 21st of October. Candidates who meet the criteria can get free (click here for the rules).
Hiring is scheduled for 2023. Those who are approved must have a high school certificate or technical course issued by an educational institution recognized by the MEC (Ministry of Education) with completion by the date of inauguration.
The tests are scheduled for November 27, lasting 3h30. There will be 50 questions about basic knowledge and 70 questions about specific knowledge. The competition will have two phases, both eliminatory, with test and course.
What Does a Social Security Technician Do?
The main function is to serve the public. Other attributions are to advise hierarchical superiors in administrative processes, carry out activities related to the recognition of social security rights, rights linked to law 8,742/93 and others under the responsibility of the INSS.
The function also foresees to develop activities of instruction, processing and handling of processes and documents, to carry out studies, researches and information collection, to prepare drafts of public notices, contracts, agreements and other administrative and normative acts of the institute and to evaluate administrative processes, offering subsidies to the management in preventive aspects and for decision making.
