A survey by Reclame Aqui on the profile of delinquency among users of the site points to low salaries as the main reason for the difficulty in paying bills today.
With 41% of the responses, low income surpassed issues such as lack of planning or unemployment.
According to the survey, which approached 3,600 users of the site on September 26, 33% of respondents have an average family income of R$2,000 to R$5,000, followed by 21% with an average income between R$1,500 to R$2,000.
At least 30% of those interviewed indicated a debt balance above R$4,000 and 25% had outstanding balances between R$1,000 and R$2,000.
The credit card is the main liability for 29% of respondents. Basic accounts such as water and electricity correspond to 12%.
