Petrobras will reduce by 5%, on average, the prices of natural gas contracts for distributors, according to a statement released this Monday (5).
The adjustment will be valid from November 1st to January 31st, 2023 and refers to the average price practiced in the previous quarter, from August to September.
In the statement, Petrobras said the quarterly updates are linked to fluctuations in Brent oil and the exchange rate.
“During the period, oil fell by 11.5%; and the exchange rate depreciated by 6.5%,” said the oil company.
The announced adjustment does not apply to LPG (cooking gas).
