This Friday (10), the Ministry of Citizenship and Caixa Econômica Federal will start paying Brazil Aid of at least R$ 400 to families that are part of CadÚnico and are entitled to the benefit. The calendar is the same as the old Bolsa Família and runs until December 23rd.
This is the second round of Auxílio Brasil payments and the first in which beneficiaries begin to receive the R$400 promised by the Bolsonaro government. 14.5 million families who were already part of Bolsa Família and who received Brazil’s Aid in November will receive the largest amount.
The government’s intention, however, is to pay the benefit to 17 million families who have already been selected for the program, through enrollment in CadÚnico, but there is no defined deadline. With the promulgation of the PEC (proposed amendment to the Constitution) of the Precatório, the folder says that it “works to expand the number of those benefited by the benefit to around 17 million families as soon as possible”.
According to the Ministry of Citizenship, of the total number of families served by Auxílio Brasil, 13 million received less than R$ 400 in November.
The payment for the month of December starts this Friday for beneficiaries with a NIS (Social Registration Number) 1 end and will end on the 23rd for the public with a NIS ending zero. The cards and passwords used to withdraw from Bolsa Família are still valid and can be used to receive Auxílio Brasil.

According to information from the ministry, the payrolls for November and December for the benefit will be covered by Citizenship’s own budget, which has R$ 9.3 billion after Law 14,236, of November 11, 2021.
This Tuesday (7), a provisional measure was published that guarantees the minimum amount of R$ 400 for all families covered by the program this month. However, those who received a lower value, of R$ 224, on average, last month, should not have the difference of the retroactives. “There is, so far, no budget forecast for retroactive payment referring to the previous month”, says the folder.
The ministry says that the social assistance registry is being modernized to monitor and reach the greatest number of families. Those who are part of the program undergo a monthly review and, if they fail to meet the criteria, they will leave the beneficiary queue.
how to receive
To receive the amounts, the beneficiary must go to Caixa Econômica Federal or go to a lottery shop. Payment is made with the Citizen’s Card, used in Bolsa Família. It is also possible to receive through Caixa Tem. For this, however, it is necessary to generate a password.
To find out how much they will receive, the worker can consult the Auxílio Brasil app, at Caixa’s ATMs and lotteries, or by calling 111, at Caixa.
Caixa informed that it will not make any special payment scheme, but says that, as it was already responsible for making the emergency aid feasible, which reached a larger audience, it is able to release the amounts.
Consultation by CPF
To check whether they are entitled to Brazil Aid, the family responsible can use their CPF on official channels of the federal government. Monthly, Dataprev combs the benefits to verify that everyone still fits the program’s rules.
