Concern about cases of cargo theft has hit medium-sized industries harder than large ones, according to a survey by the CNI (National Confederation of Industry).
About 18% of medium-sized companies point to cargo theft as a major problem in the logistics and operation of their companies.
This share drops to 9% in the context of large industries, according to the survey, which interviewed 2,500 executives from large and medium-sized industrial companies in the country.
For large industries, the poor conditions of the modes appear as an important logistical bottleneck, cited by 23%.
High costs still represent the main problem, regardless of size.
