The Federal Court released, this Monday (24), the monthly batch of arrears from the INSS (National Social Security Institute) for retirees, pensioners and other insured persons who won a review action or benefit grant.
The CJF (Council of Federal Justice) transferred a total of BRL 1.835 billion to pay RPVs (Small Value Requisitions), which are delayed up to BRL 72,720. The lot will settle a total of 142,102 processes, with 176,141 beneficiaries.
Of the total released to the courts, R$ 1.53 billion are allocated to 81,657 social security and assistance processes, such as requests for review and granting of pensions, sickness benefits, death pensions and other benefits. According to the CJF, 105,880 beneficiaries will receive arrears of actions related to social security and assistance benefits.
Whoever has an RPV will receive the money in this lot, as arrears of up to 60 minimum wages are called, with payment authorized by the Court in September 2022.
The action must have been completed, without the possibility of resources from the INSS, a stage that occurs after the final decision. In addition, the Justice must have issued the payment order (phase that is called requisition or assessment of the process).
The exact date on which the money will be released into a Caixa or Banco do Brasil account depends on the schedule of each court where the action was analyzed. In the case of the TRF-3 (Federal Regional Court of the 3rd Region), which serves policyholders in São Paulo and Mato Grosso do Sul, the money is usually released within a week.
