Businessman dies after crashing truck against Bolsonarista blockade in Mato Grosso

Businessman Osmar Alceu Wichocki, 56, owner of the Parque Cuiabá supermarket, in Mato Grosso, died on Monday night (31) when the truck he was driving into the back of another that was stopped at a demonstration by supporters of President Jair Bolsonaro (PL) at Trevo do Lagarto, in Várzea Grande, in the metropolitan region of the capital.

The businessman died instantly and it was raining at the time of the collision.

Wichocki was the administrative, financial and patrimonial director of Asmat (Association of Supermarkets of Mato Grosso). The occurrence was attended by the Traffic Crimes Police Station of Cuiabá. The Civil Police carried out an investigation at the scene of the accident.

Trevo do Lagarto is one of the ten points of protests by bolsonaristas on roads in Mato Grosso, according to a report published this Tuesday morning (1st) by the PRF (Federal Highway Police) in the state.
