Household basket: These are the new price reductions in two of the biggest supermarket chains

“Within 48 hours the household basket has sold out in the supermarkets” the Minister of Development pointed out to SKAI 100.3 Adonis Georgiades. The minister emphasized that the prices of many products are falling due to great competition.

Mr. Georgiadis visited two supermarket chain stores in the morning that sent corrected lower prices for a number of products that have been included in the cart. He pointed out that “any chain that does the same will have the corresponding advertisement”.

The minister acknowledged that a solution must be found for special categories, for example diabetics who do not have access to certain products.
