Mônica Bergamo: Persio Arida will talk about Brazil’s economic challenges in an online event

Economist Persio Arida will participate in the seminar “Open Channel — Economic Observatory”, held by the France Brazil Chamber of Commerce next Wednesday (9).

The event will be online and open to the public, upon registration on the website. Arida will speak about Brazil’s economic challenges next year. The opening speech will be in charge of the president of the chamber of commerce, Pedro Antonio Gouvêa, with the mediation of the vice president Octavio de Barros.

The economist is one of the fathers of the Real Plan and is among those quoted for an eventual position in the economic area in the government of Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (PT).

He, who has always been linked to the PSDB and maintains a close relationship with the vice-president-elect Geraldo Alckmin, declared his vote for the PT in the second round of the elections.
