President-elect Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (PT) will travel to Egypt next Monday (14), aboard a plane owned by businessman José Seripieri Junior, founder of Qualicorp and owner of Qsaúde.
The Gulfstream model aircraft has the capacity to carry 12 people and the autonomy to fly directly to the African country, which currently hosts COP27.
Lula and Seripieri have been friends for about ten years. During this year’s election campaign, the businessman was one of the first with whom PT agreed to meet to discuss his government proposals.
The owner of Qsaúde promoted private dinners at his house, bringing together names from the business community such as Cláudio Ermírio de Moraes, from the Votorantim group, and banker Luiz Carlos Trabuco, from Bradesco.
At the time, market protagonists showed great resistance to the name of the former president and even to participate in meetings with him.
