The Ebanx payment platform announced this Wednesday (15) the purchase of fintech specialized in international transfers of Online Remittance resources in an operation of more than R$ 1.2 billion.
The deal came after Ebanx, which provides payment services in Latin America to international companies like Spotify, announced in October that it had completed the purchase in Brazil of Juno, a fintech that provides billing, payments, digital account and a range of banking solutions. .
The transaction also follows mid-year announcement of a $430 million (BRL 2.4 billion) injection into Ebanx by funds managed by Advent International, financing the Brazilian company’s growth ahead of an initial public offering planned for the coming months.
