Panel SA: Works by Judith Lauand to be Launched in Token Trading

by

Fintech Hurst Capital will launch on Monday (28) an operation for investors in the digital asset market with tokens of works by artist Judith Lauand. The launch takes place on the heels of the inauguration of an exhibition commemorating Judith’s 100th birthday, at Masp, scheduled for this Friday (25).

There are two works of art being negotiated on the Hurst platform, one signed in 1992 and the other in 1993. The minimum contribution is BRL 2,000 and the expected profitability of the assets varies between 10% and 26%, in terms of 12 months to two years old. In the projections of the base scenario, considering a period of 18 months, the return can reach 20%.

According to Hurst, which owns the paintings, the square meter of works with the same characteristics has appreciated around 45% a year in auctions over the last seven years. When the paintings are auctioned, each investor will receive the amount invested with the gain proportional to the profit from the sale.

Judith was the only woman to join, in 1954, the Ruptura group, considered an avant-garde movement in the Brazilian concretist movement. Her works are filled with precise geometric shapes, a mixture of contrasting colors and mathematical processes in the composition.

This will not be Hurst’s first operation with artwork tokens. Fintech has already organized options with paintings by Di Cavalcanti, Tomie Ohtake, Abraham Palatnik and Luiz Sacilotto.
