DYPA: 14,800 euros in new businesses – What are the conditions?

New program from DYPA offers grant of business initiatives for more than 3,000 people

According to DYPA, until Wednesday 28 December 2022 at 3pm, those interested can submit a funding application for the new “subsidy program for business initiatives employing 3,220 young freelancers, aged 30 to 45, in the Regions of Eastern Macedonia and Thrace, Western Greece, of Epirus, Thessaly, Central Macedonia and Western Macedonia, with an emphasis on the digital economy”.

As the Public Employment Service (DYPA) states in its announcement, the action concerns the strengthening of new businesses created (from January 1, 2022) by former unemployed, aged 30-45, while emphasis will be placed on businesses active in digital sectors economy..

The grant

The grant amounts to 14,800 euros and is paid in three installments as follows:

1st installment of 4,000 euros, after the approval of the financing application.
2nd installment of 5,400 euros, after the end of the first semester from the start.
3rd installment of 5,400 euros, after the end of the second semester from the start.
Those interested submit a funding application exclusively through the State Aid Information System (GIA) of the Ministry of Development and Investments, at https://www.ependyseis.gr.

The total budget of the program amounts to 47,656,000 euros and is co-financed by the Greek State and the European Social Fund, within the framework of the Operational Program Competitiveness, Entrepreneurship and Innovation-EPANEK 2014-2020.
