Who would have expected that in Greece where the quick stamp and the envelope are still endemic – even in the “most mountainous” areas of the Greek State – that the time would come when the establishment of an individual business would be done with a few clicks from the interested party’s computer? Without appointments and queues, presenting supporting documents, wasting time, testing patience and nerves.
From Friday, January 13, a small revolution will take place in our country with the digital establishment of individual businesses. I should note here that sole proprietorships are the most popular form of business since according to the Chambers data 2/3 of new businesses are sole proprietorships.
From the computer, the…newbie entrepreneur enters with the codes taxisnet on gov.gr, where the cross-checking of its data is done. Without it, the process does not proceed. Then he chooses whether he applies for himself or on behalf of a third party (yes, there will be this possibility too!)
Next step the choice of the type of business headquarters.
If he chooses Owned office, he needs to fill in the Property Identification Number and the rest of the fields are automatically filled in by the data concerning the interested party and drawn from the various databases connected to the system. In the event that he chooses Non-Owned Office, he should fill in the number and year of submission of the real estate lease information declaration for the property he leases. And the rest of the fields are filled in automatically again.
Afterwards, the interested party should select the area to which the address of the business corresponds in order to retrieve data concerning the municipality and the prefecture. If the postal code is not completed, it can be completed electronically only in the case of the privately owned headquarters, otherwise it must be addressed to the relevant D.O.Y.
After checking the pre-filled fields, it then enters the business name associated with the natural person’s name. Finally, it registers Business Details, Greek Accounting Standards (HAL) Details, VAT Details. and Details of Business Activities, which the user is invited to select through interoperability with AADE.
Final stage , through the interface with the LOAD the company is registered and a General Commercial Register number is obtained and at the same time the registration is made with the local chamber.
Throughout this process, the interested party will not need to contact EFKA at all. AADE undertakes to notify EFKA that the specific user has the obligation to register in e-EFKA within 10 days from the declaration of the start of operations of the business. If he doesn’t, yes you guessed it right, it is done electronically again but EFKA does it by himself!!!!!!
