The General Price Index closed at 1,068.12 points, down 0.63%.
Intra-sessionally it recorded a higher price at 1,080.07 points (+0.48%) and a lower price at 1,058.80 points (-1.50%).
On a weekly basis, the main stock market index registered a rise of 3.36%, completing eight weeks of gains, while since the beginning of the year it has recorded gains of 14.88%.
The value of transactions amounted to 144.42 million euros, while 72,215,069 shares were traded.
The large-cap index fell 0.32%, while the mid-cap index fell 0.66%.
Of the high capitalization shares, OPAP’s share (+4.55%) recorded the biggest increase, followed by Motor Oil’s share (+31.8%), receiving a boost from its inclusion in the MSCI Standard Greece index.
On the contrary, the biggest drop was recorded by the shares of GEK TERNA (-5.53%), Viohalco (-3.35%), Sarantis (-3.35%), Quest Participations (-3.24%), of Terna Energy (-3.17%) and Lamda Development (-2.82%).
Of the individual indices, the biggest increase was recorded by the Travel (+4.13%) and Oil (+2.07%) indices, while the biggest losses were recorded by the Construction (-3.01%) and Insurance indices (-2.60%) and Real Estate (-2.42%).
MIG and Piraeus presented the largest volume of transactions, trading 32,913,049 and 7,818,153 shares, respectively.
The highest value of transactions was recorded by Nthniki with 18.25 million euros and Piraeus with 16.19 million euros.
44 stocks moved up, 77 fell and 12 remained stable.
The biggest increase was recorded by the shares: Motodynamics +22.54% and Sato +19.32%.
The biggest drop was recorded by the shares: VIS -11.90% and Frigoglass -7.04%.
