Answer to the “shots” fired earlier by the president of SYRIZA, Alexis Tsipras against the government regarding the auctions, the government spokesman said, Giannis Oikonomou.

Through this mechanism, debts amounting to 1.08 billion have already been settled for over 3300 households, while banks and claim managers have made bilateral arrangements totaling 27 billion euros for non-performing loans of over 590,000 borrowers.
The Government of New Democracy deals with the issue of private debt consistently, methodically and with social sensitivity. Whatever Mr. Tsipras tries to say today, he cannot fool the citizens again» concludes the government representative.
