At the same or slightly lower levels compared to February, the electricity bills for March from the majority of suppliers.

The March tariffs reflect the significant decline in international natural gas prices in recent weeks (but also uncertainty over the maintenance of the current price level) combined with the rise in the cost of emission rights.

The final cost to consumers remains in any case in recent months at 15-16 cents per kilowatt hour as the following government subsidies (expected to be announced in March) are set at the level required to achieve this target for customers of the largest supplier which is PPC.

In more detail, the charges for March are:

PPC: For consumption up to 500 kilowatt hours, 19.5 cents per kilowatt hour (from 19.9 in February). For higher consumption, 20.7 cents per kilowatt hour (from 21.1). Night tariff: 15.4 cents per kilowatt hour (from 15.8).

Protergia: without consistency discount 24.8 cents per kilowatt hour, with consistency discount 18.8 cents per kilowatt hour (unchanged).

Heron Protect: 24.6 minutes per kilowatt hour (from 24.9 in February).

Elpedison : 23 cents per kilowatt hour daytime charge and 22.33 cents at night (from 19.5 cents per kilowatt hour and 18.83 respectively in February).

NRG: 19.9 cents per kilowatt hour without consistency discount (from 22.5 cents per kilowatt hour in February).

Watt&Volt: unchanged at 24.5 cents per kilowatt hour.

Natural Gas of Greece: 24.7 cents per kilowatt hour without consistency discount (from 25.1) and 18.5 with discount (from 18.8).

Zenith: 19.4 cents per kilowatt hour (from 19.49) for monthly consumption up to 270 kilowatt hours, and 20.4 (from 20.49) for the excess.
