The telephone line is open from Monday to Friday, from 8 am to 8 pm. It can be addressed to households that are really unable to pay their electricity bills and request a reconnection of their supply, the minister pointed out.

Costas Skrekas also clarified that “any support to businesses should first go through the European Competition Commission to get the approval because otherwise it is illegal “. “Our goal is to support all businesses, whether low, medium or high voltage,” he said.
The minister clarified that “in recent days we have de-escalation in gas prices and this brings de-escalation in energy prices. Of course we should not be in a hurry, the volatility in the international energy markets is very high, we hope that this will continue and we will finally have a de-escalation, but this may not happen and energy prices will remain high at least until Easter. “We could even have another increase in gas prices that would sweep away electricity prices.”
