As the Public Employment Service (DYPA) states in its announcement, the aim of the action, lasting 12 months, is to promote the self-employment of 1,500 young unemployed people, through the creation of sustainable businesses, with an emphasis on the digital economy.

The grant amounts to 14,800 euros and will be paid in three installments as follows:

– 1st installment of 4,000 euros, after the start of activity at DOU.

– 2nd installment of 5,400 euros, after the end of the first semester from the start.

– 3rd installment of 5,400 euros, after the end of the second semester from the start.

Beneficiaries of the action are unemployed people registered in the DYPA register, aged 18-29, who submit a funding application and a business plan proposal, through the State Aid Information System (PSKE) of the Ministry of Development and Investments, at https://www.ependyseis .gr.

The program, with a total budget of 45 million euros, is co-financed by the Greek State and the European Social Fund – Youth Employment Initiative, within the Operational Program “Human Resource Development, Education and Lifelong Learning 2014-2020”.
