The government and the Ministry of Finance, with the cooperation of the Ministry of Finance, Revenue (AADE), responding to the needs of businesses in Northern Evia that have been negatively affected by the crisis of the coronavirus pandemic and the large fires of summer.
Particularly:
- The criterion of turnover reduction is modified and companies must show a decrease in turnover by 20% (from 30%) in the DG quarter of 2021, compared to the reference turnover.
- It is foreseen that the VAT subject companies that have started operations after January 1, 2021, have their headquarters or branch in the Municipalities of Mantoudi – Limni – Agia Anna and Istiaia – Edipsos of the Regional Unit of Evia and have an active main KAD on July 1, 2021 from the KAD belonging to the categories “Retail trade, except for the trade of motor vehicles and motorcycles” (KAD 47), “Accommodation” (KAD 55) or “Catering activities” (KAD 56), may be included in the scheme regardless of reducing their turnover, receiving the minimum amount of aid, ie aid of EUR 1,000.
- Beneficiaries can also include private companies of all legal forms, including sole proprietorships, which are not subject to VAT or are subject to exemption on 31 August 2021, provided they have their registered office or branch in the Municipalities of Mantoudi – Limni – Agia Anna – Edipsos of the Regional Unit of Evia and have an active main KAD on 1 July 2021 one of the KAD belonging to the category “Accommodation” (KAD 55) or the gross income of active on 1 July 2021 of KAD of secondary activity from the said KAD are greater from the gross income corresponding to the main KAD on 01.07.2021, with an aid amount of 1,000 euros.
- The beneficiaries include the shipping companies and the KTEL that served Northern Evia.
- Finally, the deadline for applications is extended until January 21, 2022.
