At the same time, the Minister of Rural Development and Food underlined that Greek farmers produce products of high nutritional value and unique taste, adding that in order to continue this upward trend “we must, with coordinated actions, strengthen our certified products and especially Denomination of Origin Products ( PDO) and Geographical Indication Products (PGI). And this, because they advertise our country abroad and create a strong, Greek brand name. For this reason, YPAAT has dedicated its stand to these products again this year.”

Finally, he emphasized that both the FSA and the government are exhausting every possibility they have to continue to strengthen, with EU or national resources, Greek businesses, so as to improve the quality of the products, with our products becoming even more competitive internationally, as well as to increase the quantity of products produced.
