Share prices closed slightly lower in today’s session Stock Exchangewith the market correcting for a second day, amid bearish movement in European markets as well.

O General Price Index closed at 1,106.57 points, down 0.41%. Intra-sessionally it recorded a lower price at 1,101.45 points (-0.87%).

The value of transactions amounted to 81.76 million euros, while 98,449,945 shares were traded.

The large-cap index fell 0.35%, while the mid-cap index fell 0.19%.

Of the high capitalization shares, the biggest increase was recorded by the shares of Eurobank (+1.06%), EYDAP (+0.89%), Ethniki (+0.56%) and Coca Cola HBC (+0 .56%).

On the contrary, the biggest fall was recorded by the shares of Sarantis (-3.57%), Ellaktor (-2.63%), ADMIE (-2.18%) and Piraeus (-1.73%).

Of the individual indices, the Health (+3.87%) and Food (+0.55%) indices recorded the largest increase, while the Telecommunications (-1.23%) and Real Estate indices recorded the largest losses Property (-1.20%).

MIG and Piraeus presented the largest volume of transactions, trading 80,827,467 and 4,269,782 shares, respectively.

The highest transaction value was recorded by MIG with 17.54 million euros and Piraeus with 9.75 million euros.

40 stocks moved up, 61 fell and 23 remained stable.

The biggest increase was recorded by the shares: Sato +17.19% and Evrofarma +5.10%.

The biggest drop was registered by the shares: Tria Alpha (k) -19.09% and Akritas -11.07%.
