Stock prices registered upward trends in today’s session with the market exceeding the levels of 1,090 units and “seeing” towards 1,100 units, amid mild upward movement of the European markets. Banking shares were at the center of investment interest.

O General Price Index closed at 1,095.96 points, up 0.78%.

THE value of transactions amounted to 73.68 million euros, while 16,366,157 shares were traded.

The large-cap index rose 1.04%, while the mid-cap index fell 0.24%.

Of the large-cap stocks, the biggest gains were recorded by the shares of Piraeus (+4.71%), Eurobank (+3.97%), Alpha Bank (+2.33%) and Coca Cola HBC (+ 2.11%).

On the contrary, the biggest fall was recorded by the shares of EYDAP (-3.52%), Sarantis (-2.88%), Lamda Development (-2.51%), Aegean Airlines (-2.01%) and of Ellaktor (-1.96%).

Of the individual indices, the greatest increase was recorded by the indices of Financial Services (+4.69%), Banks (+2.66%) and Food (+2.12%), while the indices of Real Estate (-1.97%) and Industrial Products (-0.65%).

The largest volume of transactions was presented by Alpha Bank and Piraeus, trading 3,536,866 and 3,099,409 shares, respectively.

The highest transaction value was recorded by OTE with 15.17 million euros and Mytileneos with 11.30 million euros.

47 stocks moved up, 51 down and 16 remained stable.

The biggest increase was recorded by the shares: MIG +30.00% and Sato +10.20%.

The biggest drop was registered by the shares: Kyriakoulis -23.22% and Progressive -7.84%.
