Share prices finally ended today’s session higher as the market managed to absorb any profit-taking moves, closing at the highest levels since late June 2014.

Among the high capitalization, the shares of Terna Energy, Mytileneos and Lamda Development stood out.

O General Price Index closed at 1,258.17 points, up 0.60%.

It is the highest close since the June 23, 2014 session (1,270.38 points).

Intra-sessionally it recorded a higher price at 1,255.32 units (+0.38%) and a lower price at 1,245.02 units (-0.45%).

The value of the transactions amounted to 165.33 million euros, while 44,997,690 shares were traded.

The large-cap index gained 0.32%, while the mid-cap index gained 1.00%.

Of the high capitalization shares, the biggest increase was recorded by the shares of Terna Energy (+2.68%), Mytileneos (+2.15%), Lamda Development (+2.07%) and Ellaktor (+1 .67%).

On the contrary, the biggest fall was recorded by the shares of Eurobank (-1.61%), OTE (-1.00%) and Coca Cola HBC (-0.50%).

Of the individual indices, the Industrial Products (+2.10%) and Financial Services (+1.78%) and Financial Services (+1.78%) indices recorded the biggest increase, while the Health indices (-3.20%) and of Telecommunications (-1.00%).

The largest volume of transactions was presented by Alpha Bank and Eurobank, trading 21,248,038 and 5,820,830 shares, respectively.

The highest transaction value was recorded by Alpha Bank with 32.48 million euros and Epsilon Net with 30.66 million euros.

70 stocks advanced, 30 declined and 27 remained stable.

The biggest increase was recorded by the shares: Foodlink +10.00% and Plastic Thrace +7.96%.

The biggest drop was recorded by the shares: Xylemporia(p) -23.60% and Mevaco -3.37%.
