Stock prices moved upwards in the first session of July, with the market also exceeding the levels of 1,290 units, closing at new 9-year highs.

From the high capitalization, the shares of Lamda, PPA, Aegean Airelines, Jumbo and Piraeus outperformed.

The General Price Index closed at 1,292.72 unitsup 1.10%. It is the highest close since the June 20, 2014 session (1,305.93 units).

The value of transactions amounted to 85.39 million euros, while 22,649,031 shares were traded.

The large-cap index gained 1.10%, while the mid-cap index gained 1.46%.

Of the high capitalization shares, the biggest increase was recorded by the shares of Lamda Development (+6.31%), PPA (+5.78%), Aegean Airelines (+3.70%), Jumbo (+3 .17%), Piraeus (+3.13%) and National (+2.75%).

On the contrary, the biggest decline was recorded by the shares of Quest Participations (-1.64%), ELPE (-1.02%), GEK TERNA 9-0.98%) and OTE (-0.70%).

Of the individual indices, the greatest increase was recorded by the indices of Real Estate (+4.67%), Financial Services (+2.52%) and Banks (+2.00%), while the largest losses were recorded by the indices of Telecommunications (-0.69%) and Food (-0.48%).

The largest volume of transactions was presented by Alpha Bank and Eurobank, trading 5,926,494 and 3,615,125 shares, respectively.

The highest value of transactions was recorded by Piraeus with 11.13 million euros and Alpha Bank with 8.99 million euros.

70 stocks moved up, 38 fell and 17 remained stable.

The biggest increase was recorded by the shares: Medical +9.04% and Minerva +7.14%

The biggest drop was recorded by the shares: VIS -7.14% and Nakas -4.86%.
