The most promising cryptocurrencies of 2022 were revealed by the billionaire and “guru” of cryptos, Sam Bankman-Fried, who described the two digital currencies as “killers” of ethereum.
In an interview with Decrypt, the 29-year-old founder of FTX claimed that solana and avalanche are the two new market trends. Both, for almost the same reasons.
Solana is currently the 7th largest cryptocurrency in the world. It has a market capitalization of $ 42 billion, while that of ethereum – No. 2 behind Bitcoin – exceeds $ 375 billion.
But citing a recent Bank of America point, Bankman-Fried noted that solana’s blockchain allows for lower-cost transactions, is easier to use, and has greater scalability than more traditional cryptocurrencies such as ethereum and Bitcoin.
Something similar applies to avalance, which ranks 12th in terms of its capitalization, with a market value of $ 20 billion. However, in 2021, it managed to increase its price six times, a sign of its huge prospects.
As in the case of solana, the avalance blockchain is smarter and easier than system cryptos, providing a comparative advantage and all the guarantees for a truly frantic rally.
As for Bitcoin, however, Sam Bankman-Fried expressed confidence that it will remain at the center of the cryptos ecosystem in 2022, despite the dynamics developed by other cryptocurrencies.
It is worth noting that the 29-year-old billionaire is the founder of the FTX cryptocurrency exchange. He has a fortune of $ 22.5 billion and is one of the richest Americans. And all this before he turns 30 years old.
