Share prices registered a slight decline in today’s meeting Stock Exchangeas investors proceeded to controlled liquidations to secure profits.

The market corrected after three bullish sessions during which the main stock index posted a combined gain of 3.54%, hitting fresh 111-month highs yesterday.

O General Price Index closed at 1,321.15 points, down slightly by 0.19%.

The value of transactions amounted to 99.29 million euros, while 20,991,251 shares were traded.

The large-cap index fell 0.26%, while the mid-cap index fell 0.49%.

Of the large-cap stocks, the biggest gainers were Coca Cola HBC (+1.57%), Motor Oil (+0.84%), Quest Holdings (+0.76%) and Viohalco (+0 .51%).

On the contrary, the biggest fall was recorded by the shares of Sarantis (-2.15%), Titan (-2.00%), Mytileneos (-1.84%) and Terna Energy (-1.32%).

Of the individual indices, the Food (+1.53%) and Health (+1.15%) indices recorded the greatest increase, while the Financial Services (-2.36%) and of Industrial Products (-1.64%).

The largest volume of transactions was presented by Alpha Bank and Eurobank, trading 6,300,435 and 3,460,339 shares, respectively.

The highest transaction value was recorded by Jumbo with 27.06 million euros and Alpha Bank with 10.04 million euros.

61 stocks moved up, 47 down and 16 remained stable.

The biggest increase was recorded by the shares: Domiki Kritis +13.92% and Vogiatzoglou Systems +11.29%.

The biggest drop was recorded by the shares: Xylemporia (p) -28.44% and VIS -3.85%.
