Panel SA: Consumption of cultural product and service returns to pre-pandemic level, says company

A survey by Ticket points out that the consumption of cultural products and services grew again in the fourth quarter of 2021, returning to the pre-pandemic level.

Based on the use of Ticket Cultura, a benefit offered by companies to employees, the data indicate that, in the last three months of last year, the total amount spent on the benefit grew by more than 30% compared to the same period in 2020.

Cinemas, which were closed during much of the pandemic, stood out, with a 482% increase in demand, after a 89% drop in the last quarter of 2020 compared to 2019, according to the company.

Book sales grew by 9.5% in the period. The music store and musical instruments category registered a small drop of 2.7%.
