Retailer Casa&Video created a unique training program for trans workers. Called “Dreaming is for Todes”, the selection will have ten spots for stores in the state of Rio de Janeiro.
According to the company, the program will last for two years with a six-month rotation in stores, in positions such as card operator and promoter, to reach the position of assistant manager.
The post involves coordinating administrative and inventory activities, controlling the receipt of products and supporting store management.
Candidates do not need to have experience, just complete high school, says the company. The benefits package includes an undergraduate scholarship in business management and pharmacy assistance for those on hormone therapy, as well as legal advice to update documents according to gender identity.
