The verification of the declarations will be done by comparing the available data of the taxpayers’ expenses and incomes
A “safari” of checks on the nearly 4 million statements submitted showing income of up to 10,000 euros is expected in the coming months
As announced by the AADE commander, Giorgos Pitsilis, speaking on SKAI television, in the autumn there will be a “big cross-checking of data” in order to establish whether all these tax declarations are true.
The verification of the declarations will be done by comparing the available data of the taxpayers’ expenses and incomes.
POS register is coming
This week the decision to create a POS registry will be issued, according to which businesses must declare whether they have a Greek or a foreign POS.
Mr. Pitsilis also referred to the total of 50,000 spot checks that have been carried out throughout the country since the beginning of the year.
“We are even more readable in the checks thanks to the interface of the myDATA platform, with the transaction data from the POS” he characteristically said.
The next step is to interface the POS with the business cash register, a very complex and complex digital undertaking
