PASOK-Movement for Change strongly criticized what Kyriakos Mitsotakis said in his interview with ANT1.

Commentary from the party’s press office, states that the prime minister spoke with his well-known arrogance, disregarding the message sent to him by the Greek people on Sunday. “He tried to hide from the indisputable fact of his political defeat at the ballot box of the self-governing elections” with well-dressed rationalizations, adds the PASOK press office.

He notes that Mr. Mitsotakis joined “creative accounting” by declaring that 12 of the 13 elected regional governors come from within the New Democracy. “When the counting of the ‘blue’ mayors starts, this time, let’s not be ashamed to include Achilleas Beo, who directly supported government officials and he in turn reciprocated by supporting the chosen one of New Democracy, Costas Agorastos” he says the party in its announcement and emphasizes: “The arrogance, the extortion of voters, the unholy alliances with the far right, the falsely labeled reformist estrus and the proven failure of the staff state were resoundingly rejected by the citizens.”

“PASOK-Movement of Change is the reliable opposition voice. Firmly oriented to the problems of society and not to the self-referential anxieties of Mr. Mitsotakis” concludes the party in its comment.
