A new historical high was reached in October 2023 monthly debt settlements in the out-of-court mechanism, surpassing 1,200, while the total number of settings that have been achieved since its launch is now in five figures. A new monthly record was also set in the launch of new applications on the platform. The figures reflect the dynamics of the specific tool that in recent months has been significantly used by debtors and contributes substantially to the management of private debt.
In particular, according to the data of the General Secretariat of the Financial Sector and Private Debt Management:
- In the month of October 2023, 1,210 new successful debt arrangements were made, which correspond to a total of 438 million euros of initial debts, while the launch of new applications on the platform numbered 3,821.
- In total, by the end of October 2023, 10,023 successful debt settlements have been carried out, which correspond to 3.7 billion euros of original debts.
- The rate of approval of the arrangements by the financial institutions is also maintained at a consistently high level.
