With significant gains, share prices in today’s meeting Stock Exchange, with the market breaking upwards and the levels of 1,230 units, moving against the mildly bearish climate of the European markets. However, the rise in stock prices was achieved with low turnover.

O General Price Index closed at 1,237.37 units, up 1.44%. The value of the transactions amounted to 64.68 million euros, while 15,496,129 shares were traded.

The large-cap index gained 1.56%, while the mid-cap index gained 0.65%.

Of the high capitalization shares, the biggest increase was recorded by the shares of Ellactor (+5.91%), Aegean (+4.99%), Quest (+3.40%), Jumbo (+3.09 %), PPC (+2.98%), Alpha Bank (+2.94%) and Piraeus (+2.75%).

On the contrary, the shares of OTE (-0.36%) and Autohellas (-0.31%) recorded a slight decline.

Of the individual indices, the Personal Products (+2.80%), Constructions (+2.38%) and Banks (+2.36%) indices recorded the biggest increase, while losses were recorded by the Financial Services indices (-0.41%) and Telecommunications (-0.35%).

The largest volume of transactions was presented by Alpha Bank and Eurobank, trading 4,020,826 and 2,455,568 shares, respectively.

OPAP recorded the highest transaction value with 8.91 million euros and Piraeus with 6.20 million euros.

81 stocks moved up, 27 fell and 13 remained stable.

The biggest increase was recorded by the shares: Vidavo +9.84% and Ellaktor +5.91%

The biggest drop was registered by the shares: Lanakam(k) -8.65% and Moda Bango -4.80%.
