On Monday, December 4, 2023 -earlier than ever- prepayment of regular unemployment benefit, long-term unemployment benefit and self-employed unemployment benefit will start, as well as prepayment of the Christmas gift to subsidized unemployed persons, to beneficiaries of the special maternity protection benefit, the parental leave benefit and the work benefit.

The credits of the bonuses and the Christmas gift will be made by DYPA by direct deposit to the bank accounts.

As stated in the relevant announcement, no action is required from the beneficiaries and there is no reason to attend the Employment Promotion Centers (KPA2).

Payments appear in bank accounts within three working days, after they have been paid by DYPA.

It is recalled that the pre-payment of the benefits of those unemployed who are required to report their presence during the period from December 4, 2023 to January 5, 2024 will take place, after the report of presence, which is made exclusively electronically at the address: https://www.gov.gr/ ipiresies/ergasia-kai-asphalise/anergia/delose-parousias-epidoma-anergias (gov.gr > Work and Insurance > Unemployment > Declaration of presence of subsidized unemployed).
