With a loss of 0.35%, at 1,290.79 units, today’s session, the last of the week, closed at the Athens Stock Exchange.

Today’s session had two rebalancings: One, due to the restructuring of the FTSE Russell indices, with an increase in the weighting of ELPE to 30.05%, from 19.053% in the FTSE All World. And a second one, due to the restructuring of the Stoxx indices, with the inclusion of Optima Bank and Epsilon Net in the House’s indices.

The turnover, at the end of the meeting, amounted to 178 million euros, of which 7 million euros related to pre-agreed transactions (OPAP, BELA, FRLK, GEKTERNA, ETE, EPSIL, PPC, TITC, AVAX, LAVI, EEE), while NGE, ELPE and OPAP accounted for 37% of the total gross value of transactions. At the same time, of the total turnover, 167.5 million euros related to transactions in FTSE25 shares.

With today’s session, the general index registers weekly gains of 1.23%.

In the same period, the banking industry index posted gains of 2.72%. While, since the beginning of the year, the general index has recorded gains of 38.83%, and the bank index has recorded gains of 65.21%.
