Amazon announced on Tuesday (8) that it stopped sponsoring the Flow Podcast. The decision was motivated by the speech of presenter Monark, who defended in the program the right of existence of a Nazi party.
“Amazon strongly repudiates the statements made by the Flow Podcast in this Monday’s episode,” the company wrote on social media.
The podcaster was disconnected from the Flow channel and Flow Studios released a note apologizing, “especially to the Jewish community”. The episode was taken off the air.
With the negative impact of the case, the Flow Podcast lost other sponsors and received criticism from brands such as Lacta, iFood, Puma and Ragazzo, who repudiated the presenter’s comments and stated that they have no commercial relationship with the channel.
