The new PPC blue super fast chargers will be installed in 13 areas nationwide
European funding for the further development of the public charging superfast charger (HPDC) network PPC blue secured by PPC, through the financing mechanism Connecting Europe Facility (CEF). In the framework of the project 21-EL-TC-ESEERT “Electrifying South East Europe Road Transport”, PPC blue is proceeding with the installation and operation of a total of 34 fast charging points in 2X150 kW charging stations, with a total power of up to 300 kW.
As announced by the company, the new PPC blue super fast chargers will be installed in 13 regions nationwide, strengthening the presence, quality and coverage of the PPC blue electric car charging network on the main roads of the country. With energy that comes exclusively from Renewable sourcesthe new PPC blue fast charging points will be easily accessible by PWDs, who will be served on a priority basis.
With the addition of the new high-power fast chargers at key points of the Greek road network, PPC blue significantly strengthens its nationwide public network of fast chargers that lists more than 200 points (DC), of which 36 are high-power fast charging points up to 300 kW ( HPDC), thereby facilitating electric car travel.
The General Manager of Electric Mobility of PPC, Kyriakos Kofinas stated: “The bet of electrification is a national bet and PPC blue is a key player in developing the infrastructure and applications that lead to its achievement. In this direction, we contract with the Connecting Europe Facility and jointly invest in the rapid spread of fast charging, in key points throughout Greece. The development of green mobility for a more sustainable future is a common goal and we will achieve it through synergies and cooperation.”
