In the evening, the online platform closes for the applications of property owners who had insurance policies for natural disasters last year, in order to receive the 10% discount – Until March 8, the process of corrections to E9
Today, Friday March 1, the deadline expires to claim a 10% discount at ENFIA for properties insured against natural disasters, while on the 8th of the month it is completed the process of corrections to E9.
Applications (initial or amending) will be submitted until today, Friday March 1st, through the digital portal myAADE (myaade.gov.gr), following the route: Applications / Popular Applications / myPROPERTY / Reduction of ENFIA insured houses.
In the evening, the online platform closes for the applications of property owners who had insurance policies for natural disasters last year, in order to receive the 10% discount.
Especially this year those who have insured their properties for earthquake, fire and flood are entitled to the discount, with an insured value of the main and auxiliary premises stated in the contracts at least 900 euros per sq.m. (of the main and auxiliary spaces).
The reduction rate is scaled accordingly with the duration of the insurance and for the whole year it amounts to 10%, for 9 months 7.5%, for six months 5% and for three months 2.5% while no reduction is provided for a period of less than three months. When the taxpayer in whose name the policy has been issued is present in an insured residence he should declare the tax identification numbers of the other co-owners who in turn after being notified by AADE should submit a separate application relating the insurance policy to the residence. In the case of apartment buildings with one contract for all apartments, the insurance recipient should declare all the co-owners’ tax identification numbers on the platform, doing this procedure separately for each one, while when the contract does not appear on the AADE platform or not all the coverages for natural disasters or the information is incorrect, the policyholder should contact the insurance company to send the policy to AADE or make the necessary corrections.
Until March 8, the process of corrections to E9
The deadline for taxpayers is next Friday, March 8 who will find errors, gaps or omissions in the data on their real estate and will have to correct them by submitting an amending declaration E9 as well as for changes in the property status of those who bought or acquired a property through parental support, donation or inheritance of a property as well as those who sold or transferred real estate to their children or grandchildren.
It is noted that the mistakes that increase the amount of ENFIA have to do with the surface of the property, the floor, the age, the type of real rights, the percentages of co-ownership, empty and unfinished buildings as well as the type of buildings located within plots of land .
Taxpayers will find the E9 in the application “Property register» on the myAADE digital portal.
