There is interest from United Arab Emirates for investments, of an even larger scale, in our country, notes the Minister of Development in his post on social media Kostas Skrekas.

Specifically, the minister states:

“Strengthening the cooperation between Greece and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) in key areas of economic and investment activities was the main topic of discussion in today’s meeting with my good friend the Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology of the UAE .E., Sultan bin Ahmed Al Jaber.

The excellent climate between Greece and the United Arab Emirates was confirmed. There is interest in even larger-scale investments in our country in areas such as:

  • Energy
  • Tourism
  • Agri-food
  • Shipbuilding industry
  • Pharmaceutical and chemical industry
  • Research, Innovation and Start-ups.

I referred to the government’s plans for the re-industrialization of the country, as well as the investment opportunities offered by Greece. Our contacts will continue to be even more fruitful and creative.”
