Share prices on the Athens Stock Exchange closed with losses in the last session of the week, with the market falling to the levels of 1,400 units.

O General Price Index closed at 1,400.61 points, down 1.12%. Intra-sessionally it recorded a higher price at 1,423.83 units (+0.52%) and a lower price at 1,395.54 units (-1.48%).

On a weekly basis, it registered a rise of 1.24%, while since the beginning of the year it has recorded gains of 8.31%.

The value of the transactions amounted to 130.24 million euros, while 25,986,612 shares were traded.

THE high-cap index It fell 1.07%, while the mid-cap index fell 2.26%.

From the shares of high capitalization, the biggest increase was recorded by the shares of Coca Cola HBC (+1.73%), EYDAP (+1.25%), Sarantis (+0.90%) and Jumbo (+0.53%) ).

On the contrary, the biggest fall was recorded by the shares of Quest Participations (-4.01%), Ellaktor (-3.54%), Viohalco (-3.33%), PPC (-3.24%) and Piraeus (-3.01%).

The largest volume of transactions was presented by Eurobank and Piraeus, trading 5,347,605 and 4,520,018 shares, respectively.

Mytileneos with 19.02 million euros and Piraeus with 17.38 million euros recorded the highest value of transactions.

18 stocks moved up, 96 fell and 12 remained stable.

The biggest increase was recorded by the shares: Progressive +7.38% and Minerva +3.33%.

The biggest drop was recorded by the shares: Bitros -9.92% and Pairis -8.56%.
