It is only a matter of time before the platform is opened for it submission of tax returns according to Omiros Tsapalos, press representative of the Ministry of Finance, who spoke on the program “Mismatches” on SKAI.

He announced that there will be an extension in the submission of tax returns, emphasizing: “The schedule will be released soon, while June 30 will not be the deadline.”

The delay, he said, is due to the fact that the law that allows more than 1 million citizens, pensioners and employees to see pre-filled tax returns had to be passed first.

It is recalled that on Wednesday, from the floor of the Parliament, the Deputy Minister of Finance, Haris Theoharis, announced that for every day of delay in the start of the submission of tax returns beyond March 31, the deadline will be automatically extended. “Given that, last year we started on March 31, let’s say roughly April 1, and we didn’t start on the same date this year, for any days we have gone in April, we will advance the deadline beyond June 30, so that in July the statements, so the days we took in April we will give them in July…” he said characteristically.
