The government will be able to include up to 1.9 million workers in the payment of the PIS/Pasep 2022 allowance. According to Dataprev, the technology company responsible for processing allowance data, the review of the records is being carried out because inconsistencies were identified in the information sent by companies in Rais (Annual List of Social Information).
The consultation to find out if the worker was included in the new batch of PIS is scheduled to be released as of March 16, in the “Carteira de Trabalho Digital” application and through the work services platform on the Gov.br portal. The benefit, of up to R$1,212, is already being paid to workers who did not have any errors in their registration. See the calendar below.
When crossing data from the workers’ records, Dataprev identified discrepancies between the information declared in Rais’s first bond and the other official bases of labor records. Now, with the review of the records, the company reported that it expands the crossing of data to confirm the correct date of the worker’s bond.
You can receive the 2022 salary bonus who worked with a formal contract for at least 30 days, consecutive or not, in 2020. It is also necessary to be registered in the PIS or Cnis program for at least five years – that is, the first formal job must have taken place in 2015 or earlier, among other requirements.
This is the first time that eSocial records are used for the granting of the salary bonus. According to Dataprev, 96.5% of the 55 million CPFs that were registered with Rais or eSocial in 2020 were completed, with the following results:
- 22.7 million eligible to receive the salary bonus
- 30.4 million ineligible
- 1.9 million in need of additional processing (3.5% of registrations)
