announces that it has announced three international tenders for the transfer of claims from the following portfolios of non-performing and performing loans (hereinafter jointly the “Portfolios” and each “Portfolio”):
(a) Alphabet Portfolio of Secured Retail Loans, consisting of mortgage receivables secured mostly by real estate collateral, to be sold in accordance with Law 3156/2003 on securitization of receivables, as applicable.
(b) Alphabet Portfolio of Secured Business Loans, consisting of receivables from business loans secured for the most part by collateral on properties to be sold in accordance with Law 3156/2003 on securitization of receivables,
(c) Alphabet Portfolio of Unsecured or Low Collateral Loans, consisting of receivables from loans (business and retail banking) mostly unsecured or with low collateral, to be sold in accordance with Law 5072/2023 (which amended articles 1 to 3 of Law 4354/2015), as applicable.
The above loans were granted by the above-mentioned YEE Credit Institutions (hereinafter jointly the “Requirements“). The relevant procedures are expected to be completed within the year 2024. The intended transfer of the Claims does not affect the position of the debtors or other involved persons, nor the terms of repayment of the relevant debts.
In the context of the transfer of the Claims, the personal data of the debtors and guarantors as well as those of other natural persons, connected to the Claims in any capacity (e.g. of third parties who provided collateral, special or universal successors, attorneys-at-law, representatives, third parties in whose hands a seizure may be imposed or against whom a right of set-off may be asserted, members of management of legal entities, etc.) will be forwarded, with regard to the Alphabet Secured Retail Loans and Alphabet Secured Business Loans Portfolios based on article 10 par. 21 of Law 3156/2003 and with regard to the Alphabet Portfolio of Unsecured or Low Secured Loans based on Articles 21 and 32 of Law 5072/2023, by the YEE Credit Institutions, as represented by their special liquidator, PQH, in each special purpose vehicle that will acquire the Receivables from the Alphabet Retail Secured Loan and Alphabet Commercial Secured Loan Portfolios and to the credit buyer company that will acquire the Receivables from the Alphabet Unsecured or Subprime Loan Portfolio, as well as the credit service companies during provisions of Law 5072/2023, to which the respective acquirer will be assigned the management of Claims per Portfolio.
After the signing of the relevant contract for the sale of the Receivables per Portfolio, the debtors and guarantors of the Receivables will be informed in more detail with a personalized notification that will be sent by post to their available addresses, while the other aforementioned persons will be informed through relevant announcements in the printed and electronic press, as well as on the PQH website.
