The Special The Best of São Paulo Gastronomy – Restaurants, Bars and Kitchen brings a selection with over 900 houses where to eat and drink in the city, presented according to their specialty and information about neighborhoods where they are located.

In addition to the selection, the project highlights winners elected by the specialized jury and the opinion of the city’s residents through a Datafolha survey, which outlines the list of the best addresses of São Paulo according to Paulistano.

Gelato artisan

It sells ice cream in 500 ml pots for delivery or in physical stores such as Empório Varanda, Hortisabor and Casa Santa Luzia (from R $ 59). The chocolate bears the name of the house and is prepared with a blend of three types of the ingredient ($ 79). Brand meats supply restaurants from São Paulo and are sold through the site or in person in a butcher shop in the central region of the city. Pyreneus

Created in 1958 by a Spanish family, the brand produces handcrafted with selection of noble pork cuts, natural drying method and typical spices of the European country. Much requested, Morcilla is based on onion and pork with blood (R $ 38, 300 g). The leftover is typical of the island of Majorca: made with pork and pepper fat, has pate texture (R $ 60, 300 g).

Combu Amazon Products

Opened ten years ago, sells typical products from the Northern region in both the physical store and for delivery to Greater São Paulo. Acai appears in the pulp version (R $ 40 per 1 kilo), ice cream (R $ 18 per 120 ml) and beaten (R $ 18 per 300 ml). Also popular are tucupi, broth extracted from cassava and tempered (R $ 33 by 1 liter), and the various cassava flour. It was founded in 2015 by Fernando Goldenstein Carvalhaes and Leonardo Andrade, duo that explores fermentation techniques in different preparations. Created by Leila and Mariana Bertelli, mother and daughter, the store specializes in vegan confectionery. Pies and sweets can be purchased to prompt or custom. Banoffe costs $ 24 per slice or starting at $ 150. The menu includes cakes, sweets (from R $ 8) and quiches (from R $ 16). There is a coffee with drinks, sandwiches, cookies and kiss bread (vegan version of cheese bread).

Table III Shepherd

Chef Ana Soares, created 30 years ago, prepares handmade masses. Stuffed are the most traditional, such as half -cure and basil cheese ravioli (R $ 76 by 400 g) and Burrata Agnolotti (R $ 74 per 400 g). The menu also includes sauces, pies, antipasti and sweets. Sales are made by the site and in two units – a factory store in Vila Romana and another in Sumaré, with tables on the balcony, where lunch during the week and delicacies on Saturdays.

MONTOZA FISHERS

In addition to popular fish, sold in portions of 1 kilo, such as tilapia (R $ 68), tuna (R $ 120), salmon (R $ 130) and sardines (R $ 28), the fishmonger has exotic options. This is the case of freshwater eel (R $ 1,200 a kilo) and white catfish eggs (R $ 35, 50 g). In the same street, is Montoza Sushi, which offers ready dishes.

The cheese

You can buy the Brazilian handcrafted cheeses selected by Luciana Oliveira in the store and on the site. The menu includes varieties produced with cow’s milk, buffalo, goat and sheep. Called pink peak, the creamy goat cheese carries gin and pink pepper (R $ 78, 250 g). The cutting curd, with buffalo milk, comes out for R $ 58 (300 g).

Sozai Japanese Deli

It sells Japanese food to consume on site, for travel and frozen. Bentô, typical lunch box, starts at R $ 59.50. In Torimomo Bentô has thigh and chicken overcox in Teriyaki sauce, rice with vegetables and other side dishes (R $ 74,80). There are also combined with sushi, Niguiris and other fish pieces.

Toast

Flávia Maculan left her biologist career to specialize in the production of natural fermentation breads. The most traditional is country, made of white and wholemeal flour (R $ 42). Also out of the toasted seeds (R $ 45) and hazelnuts and raisins (R $ 48). They are available only by order. The tarter
