The new free application and platform was activated from today, Monday 13/5 JOBmatch of the Public Employment Service (DYPA) for the direct interconnection of tourism and catering businesses with those looking for work in corresponding specialties.

As mentioned in a related announcement, using the innovative digital tool of DYPA is very simple.
Businesses create their profile for free on the JOBmatch.dypa.gov.gr platform and “search for an employee” directly from the jobs they offer, choosing specific features, such as the specialty, the choice of type of work (permanent, seasonal, other), the date of starting work and the salary range.
Accordingly, jobseekers in tourism-catering businesses can “download” the JOBmatch application, which is available on Android (Google Play Store) and IOS (Apple App Store), create profiles and configure their options using filters, such as the professions they are interested in, hours, region, salary range and the availability date.
The JOBmatch.dypa.gov.gr platform provides the possibility to businesses to instantly see which prospective employees match their search, to select them and then propose an interview day and time.
Thus, the process of finding an employee can now be completed in less than five minutes.
At the same time, each candidate is immediately informed by the JOBmatch application as soon as a company selects him for an interview and has the option of accepting or rejecting the invitation.
In case of acceptance, the company sees his information and contacts him for the interview.
Candidates also have the ability to refresh their search filters, as often as they wish, profiling them according to their availability and preferences.
The Minister of Labor and Social Security, Domna Michailidou, said: “With the new JOBmatch application we are taking another step to connect employees with employers. This new innovative service starts from tourism and catering, two important sectors for the country, in which there is an increased need for staff. We confirm in practice that DYPA no longer only gives benefits, but creates employment opportunities for our fellow citizens. We are constantly upgrading its services. With active employment actions, within four years, we have managed to significantly reduce the unemployment rate and support the labor market. We continue”.
For his part, the commander of DYPA, Spyros Protopsaltis, underlined: “DYPA “throws into the battle” another innovative tool for the more efficient and immediate connection of companies looking for employees with those looking for work. We are starting the pilot in the tourism and catering industry, which faces significant challenges in finding staff, and we will evaluate the results. JOBmatch literally brings into the hands of the unemployed, employees and businesses, the ability to connect in real time and decide, without any mediation, in just a few minutes, whether to proceed with a job interview. We continue to modernize DYPA, upgrade our toolbox and design new services, in order to strengthen the coupling between supply and demand in the labor market.”
It is noted that the use of the platform for businesses it works exclusively through a browser. They can log in and register, via browser, from a desktop computer, tablet or smartphone and the platform works from all browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge, etc.).
